Prénoms et arts visuels 2 : prénoms reflets
Idée trouvée sur un blog (?) et testée après avoir travaillé la symétrie. 1) phase de découverte de certains travaux déjà réalisés et discussions : ce que c'est, ce qu'on voit, comment on a pu faire... l'idée de monstres, de personnages extraterrestres, de plantes surnaturelles, d'insectes bizarres revient souvent.
Pour trouver la technique, ils ont du mal : on peut tourner les dessins pour les aider. 
Ils trouvent le prénom, voient que le coloriage est plus ou moins symétrique... se posent la question du 2ème coté. Ah, bah oui ! la symétrie! 2) les étapes : Plier une feuille en deux en longueur ; tracer une ligne à 3 ou 4 cm en parallèle du pli ; écrire son prénom dans cet espace (les lettres doivent toucher le bord du pli, les minuscules montent jusqu'à la ligne, les plus grandes vont plus haut, pour les lettres qui descendent, les serrer dans l'espace.) 
Repasser les lettres avec un feutre, plutôt foncé. 
Pour la symétrie, les élèves peuvent rester à leur place si le graphisme transparait de l'autre côté de la feuille : je leur ai proposé de le faire en s'appuyant sur une vitre, c'est plus pratique.Ils sont surpris de ne pas reconnaitre le nom qu'ils repassent en symétrie ;-) Il suffit ensuite de remplir les boucles librement mais en respectant la symétrie des couleurs ou des signes.

Mes élèves ont créé leurs extraterrestres de cette manière il y a 1 mois et demi! Ils ont adoré!
